Crowns & prosthetics
A broken tooth, badly worn, or barely holding on? A well-made crown gives it back its shape, strength and colour, and blends in with the rest.
Book on WhatsAppWhat is a crown?
A crown is a cap that fully covers a damaged tooth and protects it when you chew. It is made to measure, in the shape and colour of your teeth.
I make them in zirconia, one of the strongest materials in dentistry, and it does not darken over time.
When is a crown needed?
A badly damaged tooth
When little healthy tooth remains and a filling is no longer enough, the crown covers it and spreads the chewing force.
A root-treated tooth
After a root canal the tooth is left more fragile; the crown protects it from fracturing.
A worn-down bite
If wear has shortened your teeth, a full rehabilitation gives them back their height, their function and their appearance.
The treatment, step by step
A well-made crown goes unnoticed: it blends in with your teeth and lets you chew with confidence.
- 1
Assessing the tooth
I check how it is doing and explain the best way to restore it. If your bite calls for orthodontics before the crown, I say so before I prepare a single tooth.
- 2
Fixed quote
In writing and before we start, with the order and timings of the whole process.
- 3
Preparation and temporary
I prepare the tooth preserving what is healthy, and you leave with a temporary that protects it and looks fine.
- 4
The laboratory
Your zirconia crown is made in the same laboratories I work with in London.
- 5
Fitting and adjustment
I adjust the contact and the bite until it feels like a tooth of your own, and then fix it permanently.
Why choose me?
You see me at every visit
The person who assesses you is the one who treats you and follows up: me. You are never passed from one clinician to another.
A fixed, written quote
Before we start you know what your treatment includes and what it costs. The price we agree is the price you pay.
The same quality as in London
The same materials and laboratories as at the London implant clinic where I was Dentist of the Year 2024.
The same laboratories as in London
I do not sign off a crown that would not clear the bar of my London practice.

Three years ago I got an implant through Finest Dental. Last week, when on holiday, and after a period of instability with the tooth, the crown fell out. As Finest Dental had gone out of business, I assumed I was in trouble. I researched Dental Art and saw that they’d offered assistance to Finest Dental patients. I went along today and the service I received was second to none. Dr Eugenia and Karolina could not have been more helpful. They proactively investigated the implant, they sourced a solution and they reattached the crown. They kept me informed at every stage of the process, the procedure was painless and they really left me with a sense that they cared. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. If anything ever goes wrong again, or if I ever need another implant, I’ll be back there in a shot. Thanks again, Dr Eugenia and Karolina.View review

I went to Dental Art Implant Clinic with the intension to fix a broken crown from a previous implant. I met Dr. Eugenia who took the time to hear my cocerns, examine the problem and presented a long term solution. She has a great sense of humour while still being professsional. I am still ongoing treatment, but enjoy going to my appiontment, knowing she has my best interest at heart.View review

Frequently asked questions
When is a crown needed rather than a filling?
When little healthy tooth is left: large cavities, fractures, or teeth that are heavily worn or root-canal treated. A filling repairs the damage, but does not hold the tooth together; a crown covers it completely and spreads the chewing force, which is what stops it breaking.
Which materials do you use?
Only leading-brand materials, the same ones I use in my London practice and the ones I would choose for my own family. The implants, for example, are Klockner or Alpha-Bio depending on your case, and in the prosthesis I fit only that same brand’s original components, never compatible copies. Your written quote shows exactly what your treatment includes, and at the clinic I will gladly show you which system and which laboratory are behind each piece of work.
How long does a zirconia crown last?
Well looked after, many years, though there is no figure that fits every mouth. Zirconia is a very strong material and does not darken, and what makes the difference is the day-to-day care: brushing and interdental cleaning just as with your natural teeth, regular check-ups, a night guard if you clench at night and, if you smoke, giving up.
Does a crown need special care?
The usual care, done well: brushing, interdental cleaning and check-ups. The crown itself cannot decay, but the tooth underneath can, right where the crown meets it, and that is what your daily hygiene and my check-ups take care of.
Do treatments come with a guarantee?
Every treatment comes with a written plan and a fixed quote. With an implant, the one-month and three-month check-ups are included; after that, maintenance for the implant is a hygiene and check-up visit every six months, charged like any hygiene visit and with the price in writing beforehand. I explain the specific guarantee terms at your first assessment, based on your case.
