General dentistry
Been years since you last saw a dentist, or afraid of what they might find? Come anyway: I tell you plainly how your mouth is doing, and I do not treat anything that does not need it.
Book on WhatsAppWhat does general dentistry cover?
The everyday care of your mouth: check-ups, cleanings, fillings and everything that keeps your teeth and gums healthy year after year.
Most big problems start small. Catching them early is the most comfortable, and also the cheapest, way to look after yourself.
What does your mouth need?
A check-up and a cleaning
I examine teeth and gums, remove the tartar and tell you how everything is, in plain terms.
A cavity or a broken tooth
Fillings and build-ups in composite matched to your tooth, carefully adjusted to your bite.
You clench or grind in your sleep
A custom-made night guard protects the enamel and relaxes the jaw.
Your gums bleed
Bleeding is not normal: it almost always means inflamed gums. If it is still on the surface, a cleaning and the right hygiene technique sort it out. If it has gone down towards the root, I do a scaling and root planing quadrant by quadrant to clean it below the gum.
A check-up, step by step
Whether it is your first visit or your yearly check-up, the aim is for you to leave knowing how your mouth is and what it needs, if anything.
- 1
An unhurried check-up
I examine teeth, gums and bite and explain what I see. If everything is healthy, I tell you that too.
- 2
A careful cleaning
I remove tartar and staining while protecting the enamel, and show you the hygiene habits for your mouth.
- 3
Treatment by priority
If something needs treating, we plan the work in order of priority and you receive your fixed written quote.
- 4
Maintenance at your pace
I tell you how often a check-up makes sense in your case, with no unnecessary visits.
Why choose me?
You see me at every visit
The person who assesses you is the one who treats you and follows up: me. You are never passed from one clinician to another.
A fixed, written quote
Before we start you know what your treatment includes and what it costs. The price we agree is the price you pay.
The same quality as in London
The same materials and laboratories as at the London implant clinic where I was Dentist of the Year 2024.
No unnecessary treatments
If something is not needed, I say so. My practice runs on trust, not on selling treatments.

Dr Eugenia Vila is without doubt the best dentist I have ever met. She's not just a dentist but so much more. An artiste and an absolute perfectionist. I wanted a front tooth filling replaced and she not only did that but built up my tooth so it looks brand new. Incredible job! Plus she's absolutely lovely. She was assisted by the wonderful nurse Nadia. What a fantastic team. You are very, very lucky if you end up with them.View review

I recently visited and I’m very happy to say they exceeded all my expectations. The dentist and hygienist were exceptionally skilled. As someone who has always been fearful of dental visits, I was amazed by how the whole team made me feel comfortable. In particular Dra. Eugenia has the ability to create a comfortable and supportive environment.ice to anyone, especially to those who may find going to the dentist a bit stressful.View review

Frequently asked questions
How often should I have a dental cleaning?
For most people, once a year; if you build up tartar easily or have gum problems, every six months. At your check-up I tell you how often you should come in, with no unnecessary treatment.
My gums bleed when I brush. Is that normal?
No, bleeding is not normal: it is usually a sign of gum inflammation caused by plaque and tartar. If it is on the surface, a good cleaning and the right hygiene technique resolve it. If it has already gone down towards the root, the treatment is scaling and root planing, from €70 per quadrant. Left alone it can end up affecting the bone that holds your teeth, so it is best caught early.
How do I know if I clench or grind my teeth in my sleep?
The typical signs: waking up with a tired jaw or a headache, sensitivity, teeth that look worn down or small cracks. I can confirm it quickly at a check-up and, if needed, a custom night guard protects your teeth while you sleep.
What does the first visit cost?
Nothing: the first assessment is free. I examine you, listen to what you need and explain your options, and you then receive a fixed, written quote with no obligation. If your case needs X-rays, I give you a referral note for a nearby radiology centre; if you go ahead with treatment, what you pay for them is deducted from the quote.
How do I pay for treatment? Can I pay in instalments?
The price is agreed in writing before we start and does not change along the way. If it suits you better, payment can be spread over the course of treatment; we settle the details at the clinic, depending on the treatment and your case.
