Dental implants

Missing a tooth, or several, and no longer eating or smiling with ease? An implant replaces it from the root: fixed, natural and made to last for many years.

What is a dental implant?

An implant is an artificial titanium root placed in the bone, where the root of your tooth used to be. A zirconia crown matched to the colour of your teeth is fixed on top.

It does not come in and out: it stays fixed, and when you eat and smile it feels like a tooth of your own. I work with Klockner or Alpha-Bio implants, whichever suits your case, planned on a 3D scan I assess myself.

What can be done in your case?

You are missing one tooth

An implant with its crown replaces it without touching the healthy teeth either side.

You are missing several teeth

Several implants can replace them together, without needing one implant per missing tooth.

You have few teeth left, or none

A full rehabilitation on implants gives your mouth back fixed teeth, to eat and smile normally.

You have been told you lack bone

A graft or a sinus lift prepares the area when there is not enough bone. Only if your case needs it.

The treatment, step by step

Every mouth is different, but a well-placed implant always follows the same path:

  1. 1

    Assessment and 3D scan

I examine you, explain your options and plan your case on a 3D scan I assess myself.

  2. 2

    Fixed quote

You receive your plan in writing. You know what it includes and what it costs before we start.

  3. 3

    Implant placement

Under local anaesthetic, with minimally invasive technique. It does not hurt, and it is surprisingly manageable.

  4. 4

    Osseointegration

The bone bonds to the implant until it is as firm as a natural root. That usually takes 3 to 4 months, or 6 to 8 if your case needed a graft.

  5. 5

    Your final crown

I fit the zirconia crown and adjust shape and colour until it is just another one of your own teeth. Then we look after it together at your check-ups.

Why choose me?

You see me at every visit

The person who assesses you is the one who treats you and follows up: me. You are never passed from one clinician to another.

A fixed, written quote

Before we start you know what your treatment includes and what it costs. The price we agree is the price you pay.

The same quality as in London

The same materials and laboratories as at the London implant clinic where I was Dentist of the Year 2024.

Klockner or Alpha-Bio, with original components

I choose the brand to suit your case and always fit that brand’s original components, never compatible copies: the fit is exact and your implant stays protected in the long run.

Implant prices

Dental implant Placement of the implant, the artificial root the crown will sit on. If you only want this part for now, you can book it separately
from €700
Zirconia crown on the implant The visible tooth fixed onto the implant, with its original abutment included
from €500
Bone graft When there is not enough bone where the implant goes. Includes the biomaterial and the regeneration membrane
from €450
Sinus lift So implants can be placed in the upper back teeth where bone height is lacking. Only if your case needs it, and priced for you after the first assessment
Quoted case by case

Implant and zirconia crown together: from €1,200, crown included, and with the brand’s original abutment included in that figure rather than billed separately. If you would rather book only the surgical part, implant placement has its own price. A graft or a sinus lift is carried out only if your case needs it: the graft has a starting price, and the sinus lift is quoted for you in writing before we start. The 3D scan (CBCT) is taken at an external radiology centre and I assess it personally; that assessment is included in your plan.

Guide prices for straightforward cases. Your first assessment is free, and with it you receive a fixed, written quote with no obligation: the price we agree is the price you pay.

Three years ago I got an implant through Finest Dental. Last week, when on holiday, and after a period of instability with the tooth, the crown fell out. As Finest Dental had gone out of business, I assumed I was in trouble. I researched Dental Art and saw that they’d offered assistance to Finest Dental patients. I went along today and the service I received was second to none. Dr Eugenia and Karolina could not have been more helpful. They proactively investigated the implant, they sourced a solution and they reattached the crown. They kept me informed at every stage of the process, the procedure was painless and they really left me with a sense that they cared. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. If anything ever goes wrong again, or if I ever need another implant, I’ll be back there in a shot. Thanks again, Dr Eugenia and Karolina.

I went to Dental Art Implant Clinic with the intension to fix a broken crown from a previous implant. I met Dr. Eugenia who took the time to hear my cocerns, examine the problem and presented a long term solution. She has a great sense of humour while still being professsional. I am still ongoing treatment, but enjoy going to my appiontment, knowing she has my best interest at heart.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a dental implant cost and what does the price include?

An implant with its zirconia crown costs from €1,200, crown included. If your case needs a bone graft or a sinus lift, it is added to the fixed quote you receive in writing before we start: the price we agree is the price you pay.

Does getting an implant hurt?

Placement is done under local anaesthetic and does not hurt; most of my patients are surprised by how manageable it is. Any discomfort over the first few days is easily managed by following the written instructions I give you, and I am one WhatsApp message away for any question.

How long does a dental implant last?

It depends above all on how it is looked after, and that is in your hands and mine: thorough daily hygiene, just as with your natural teeth, regular check-ups so the gum and bone around it stay healthy, a night guard if you clench in your sleep and, if you smoke, giving up. Smoking is an implant’s worst enemy.

I smoke. Can I have implants?

Smoking does not always rule out treatment, but it does raise the risk of the implant failing or the gum around it becoming inflamed. We weigh it up together at the first visit, clearly and without lectures; if you are thinking about cutting down or quitting, an implant is a good excuse.

Do I need a CBCT scan for an implant? Where is it taken?

Yes, implant placement requires a 3D scan (CBCT). It is taken at an external radiology centre and I read and assess it personally, as I do daily in London; that assessment is included in your plan and, if you go ahead with treatment, what you pay for the scan is deducted from the quote.

Do treatments come with a guarantee?

Every treatment comes with a written plan and a fixed quote. With an implant, the one-month and three-month check-ups are included; after that, maintenance for the implant is a hygiene and check-up visit every six months, charged like any hygiene visit and with the price in writing beforehand. I explain the specific guarantee terms at your first assessment, based on your case.
